How to configure your filters and run scans on FetLife.
Open the extension popup by clicking the icon in your browser toolbar. You'll see filter cards for gender, age, roles, and pages.
Filter profiles by your preferences
Tip: Start with 5-10 pages to test, then increase for thorough scans. For large cities, 100-200 pages is recommended.
Go to the fetish kinksters page, for example:
Navigate to a city's kinksters page on FetLife, then click Start Scan. You can also scan an entire state if you prefer.
Presets save your current gender, age, and role filters so you can reload them later.
How to use the report page to search, filter, and organize your scan results.
After a fetish scan, profiles come from many locations. Use the search bar to instantly filter.
Type a state name like "Virginia":
Type "Portland" to narrow to that city:
The search acts as a wildcard — type "Dom" to match both Dominant and Domme, or any role containing those letters. Type the full role name for an exact match:
The scanner tracks every profile you've ever seen. On repeat scans, profiles seen before appear as "existing" (normal border), while brand-new profiles glow with an animated rainbow border and a NEW badge.
Use the Sort dropdown to change order and the View toggle to switch layouts.
Favorites, notes, tags, and contacted status.
Click the ☆ Favorite button on any profile. It turns orange and the profile is saved to the Favorites tab.
Type in the note field below any profile and click Save Note. Notes appear in blue below the profile and persist permanently.
Click Contacted on any profile. It dims to 55% opacity so uncontacted profiles stand out.
In the Tags section at the top of the report, type a name, pick a color, click Create.
Click + Tag on any profile and select from your tags.
Click the 👁 Hide button on any profile. It disappears from the results view but is not deleted. Hidden profiles won't show up in future views of the same scan.
Save your results as HTML or PDF.
Two export options are available in the top-right button group:
Export Full Report — Creates a standalone HTML file with all profile images embedded as base64. Open it in any browser, no extension needed. Perfect for archiving.
Export PDF — Opens a print-optimized view with photos, details, location, tags, and notes. Use your browser's print dialog to save as PDF.
Your last 3 scans are kept for quick access. Click Scan History to view past scans, load them, or export individual scan reports. Older scans are automatically removed to keep storage lean.
Tip: Export a scan before it gets pruned if you want to keep it permanently.
Backup, restore, and manage your data.
In the extension popup, scroll to Data Management and click Export. This downloads a compressed backup of all profiles, favorites, notes, tags, and settings.
To restore, click Import and select the backup file. Warning: importing replaces all current data.
Clear Scans — Removes scan results and history. Keeps: favorites, notes, tags, profile tracking (new detection).
Clear Notes — Removes notes, contacted status, hidden profiles. Keeps: scan results, favorites, tags, tracking.
Clear All Data — Full reset. Removes everything. All profiles will appear as "new" on the next scan.
